Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. The short version
We collect as little as possible. Our desktop software processes your documents on your own computer and never uploads them. The personal data we do handle is what's needed to sell you a product, issue a license, and answer your email.
2. Who we are
Alchemforge Inc ("Alchemforge", "we"), Spring Valley, NY 10977, United States. Contact: mendy@alchemforge.com.
3. What we collect, and why
- Purchases. When you buy our software, checkout and payment are handled by our payment provider (the merchant of record). We receive your name, email, country, and order details so we can deliver your license and provide support. We never see or store your full card number.
- License activation. When you activate the software, our licensing service validates your license key and records the activation so the per-device limit works. No document data is included.
- Documents you process. None. Statements and files you convert with our desktop software are processed entirely on your computer and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- Email and contact forms. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.
- Website. Our website is a static site. It does not set advertising cookies or run third-party trackers.
4. What we don't do
We don't sell personal data. We don't share it with third parties except the service providers strictly needed to run the business (payment processing, licensing, email), and they may only use it to provide those services to us.
5. How long we keep data
Order and license records are kept for as long as your license is active and as required for tax and accounting law. Support emails are kept while they're useful for helping you.
6. Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where the law doesn't require us to keep it — e.g. tax records of a purchase). Email mendy@alchemforge.com and we'll respond promptly. Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/EEA, UK, California), these rights may be backed by GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA, and you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Children
Our products and website are for businesses and adults, and are not directed to children under 16.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
